The new site also had to sell premium sofas, desks and beds without burying them under copy or clutter. It needed a minimal visual direction, clearer collection browsing, local pickup and a working payment setup before launch.
We migrated the products to Shopify and built a clean, interactive storefront that keeps attention on the furniture. Collection tabs help customers move between categories, while a sliding text detail adds movement without competing with the products. We also configured local pickup and payments so the store was ready to sell online and support nearby customers.
Somme Home now has a cleaner Shopify store that gives its furniture room to stand out and supports both online payment and local pickup. By month 14, average order value had grown 3.5 times from the first full month and the returning-customer rate reached 27.27%.
